Where to find books??
We need to update our childrens book collection! We're getting a little past the millions of board books I have, but I can't seem to find any good deals on alot of books. I try ebay, but I never win anything there! I don't really want to collect one by one, but also don't want to pay a fortune for books that my kids are gonna tear up. Any suggestions?

We've found some really good deals on Bible story books from christianbooks.com. Sometimes you can find them as cheap as .99 cents!!

You should go to this website:

you can sign AH up and she'll get a FREE book in the mail every month until she's 5!
It's great!

I am not sure if your county is included but it's worth a try. we get a free book in the mail every other month and some are really good!
oh that is funny! we just posted that at the same time! great minds think alike :)
We've had good luck with Amazon. There have been some great books on clearance, and a lot of times I've managed to get a "buy 3, get 1 free" promotion - I also make sure to pick ones that have free shipping. I have been able to get some bulk orders through ebay, but it is tricky. A good friend swears by yard sales and says her library has great book sales. Good luck!

sadly, dolly doesn't deliver in my county. but hopefully she does to yours.
i'll be interested to hear if anyone else has any good ideas! oh, but i have had some luck at yard sales too.
mary martha,
i used to get lots of books for my classroom at thrift stores/goodwill. it's always worth a try...they're usually pretty ok after a good cleaning.

Hey Mary Martha!! Try scholastic.com... If you have a teacher friend she can get you the catalog and order for you!! When I was a teacher I racked up!! Most are paper backs and very affordable!
